Hosea Ministry

In the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament of the Bible, we find the book of the Prophet Hosea. In it we read two parallel stories. One is about the chosen people of Israel who have fallen away from their covenant with God. Hosea keeps calling them back and warning them of the mistakes that they are making. At the same time, we read of the sadness in Hosea's own life. His wife is unfaithful to him. He prays to God that she, too, will come back to the right relationship with the one who loves her.

Our Hosea ministry is so named because it is a ministry of prayer for those who are blinded by addictions that are causing them to turn their backs on God and the goodness they are called to.

Please join us on the third Wednesday of each month, in our Church, from 6 to 8 PM for a quiet time of prayer for all of US who are suffering from addictions.
